THE FALLS 20 year old Mormon missionaries dressed in white shirts and ties, riding their bicycles and trying to convert the world to Mormonism is nothing new. But in The Falls, RJ Smith has just turned 20 and is to begin his two-year, full-time mission - a rite of passage for a young Latter Day Saint and takes us behind the white shirts, bicycles, and close missionary living conditions. Leaving his hometown Elder (title given to Mormon missionaries) Smith is assigned to serve 6 hours away in Oregon. There he meets his assigned companion, Elder Chris Merrill, whom he must share the same living quarters with and stay together with at all times. Unknown to them, serving on a mission would not only open strangers' doors to preach the Gospel, but awaken secrets and passions of their own lives while in service to the Mormon Church and their fellow man.
